Frustrating Experience and Misleading Cake Size

Ordered and indicated self-collection at 9pm. Arrived at the location at 9pm but realized an access card is required to access the lift area to the shop. Tried texting and calling via calls and WhatsApp but couldn’t reach them at all. Googled and ... More found another number, but that didn’t work either. Even tried leaving a message on Instagram. We drove around the area trying to find another entrance, but all required an access card. Decided to just wait at the car exit area until 10pm since we indicated cake collection time from 9-10pm. Finally, after waiting for 44 minutes, we saw someone exiting the building. We stopped her, and luckily she was from the bakery. Finally, someone passed us the cake after waiting for so long. Reached home, opened the cake, and was shocked to see how small it was. The order description stated it serves 8-15 people, which felt misleading.

Overall, the experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. The lack of clear instructions on how to access the shop and the inability to reach anyone for help were unacceptable. The size of the cake was a major letdown and did not match the description provided. The cake was about the size of my husband’s palm. We felt both inconvenienced and deceived. We hope the bakery will address these issues to prevent other customers from going through the same ordeal.
