"Food OK, price OK during promo, operations to be improved"

2nd order as they are running the 50% off promo again.
After discount, it is still more than double of normal tingkat price.
Overall the dishes look appetizing and taste good, though 1 or 2 dishes may get too salty on some days.
I find it closer ... More to home cooked meals instead of restaurant standard.

Basically you will get
- 1 vege (greens stir fried with mushrooms & carrots, topped with mini abalone / pacific clams)
- 1 seafood (prawns/fish)
- 1 meat (usually braised meat)
- 1 soup (with a lot of pork ribs/chicken)
- 1 dessert (usually Chinese 糖水, occasionally fruits)

On the 7th day, the dessert was missing. The food taste, portion and ingredients were apparently different (refer to photo).
I contacted foodline but foodline mentioned the caterer would liaise with me directly.
In the afternoon, the caterer told me that the meals I received for the previous 6 days were incorrect (as their staff entered into system wrongly), also the menu shown on foodline was wrong, and I should pay more to continue the "premium meals".
Due to the caterer's unprofessional manner, I contacted foodline again, requested to cancel the meal plan.

I wasn't able to cancel the meal plan, and the communications continued till late afternoon. Several phone calls were made, much time was wasted because of their messy workflow and poor communication structures (staff were not informed/confused about the 50% promo).

"There is nothing in the world that good food cannot fix." The food sent on subsequent days did help to wipe off the disappointment. Hopefully as a food caterer, they would improve their SOPs and staff training to minimize any kinds of mistakes.
